Pierce Brown is an American science fiction author known for his Red Rising series, which includes a six-issue prequel comic book series titled Red Rising: Sons of Ares. He has also announced a new story set in the Red Rising universe called The Book of Lorn, which combines elements of a novella and a graphic novel.

Rik Hoskin is a prominent UK-based writer known for his work in science fiction novels and comic books, including contributions to series like Superman, Star Wars, and Doctor Who. He has also written under the pen name "James Axler" for the "Deathlands" and "Outlanders" series.
